Vice Mayor Trivett: Thanked those watching online and those present. Appreciates the
phone calls and emails he received this week. Independence Day is coming up and it is a
great opportunity to celebrate America with friends and family. Think about safety when
enjoying fireworks. Ava's Splash Pad is open, Farmer's Market is open on Saturday
mornings, support your local farmers. Commissioner Milele is absent do to spending time
with family.
Commissioner Hefner: Thanked those in attendance and online. Welcomed his family and
friends in the audience. Be mindful of the the heat and leaving pets in car. If traveling to the
Gulf Coast be mindful of the warning flags. Join the City at Circle P Ranch for the Celebration
on the 4th. Register to vote if you haven't. Honored to have won the Main Street Media
award for Best Elected Official for the City of Mt. Juliet. Go Vols.

City Manager's Report
Presented the Debt Obligation Report to the BoC and stated that no action is needed. Please
check in on those unable to get out during this heat. Stated that if you have a gently used AC
unit or box fan we will be collecting them at City Hall and those in need can come by and take
one.
